N\u00e9 de parents musulmans, dans le d\u00e9partement de Mbour Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye a fait son \u00e9cole primaire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole catholique Marie m\u00e9diatrice de Ndiaganiao. Plus tard, \u00e0 Mbour la grande localit\u00e9, il fait le coll\u00e9ge. En 2000 il obtient le BAC au Lyc\u00e9e Demba Diop.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00c9l\u00e8ve brillant, le plus souvent premier de sa classe, il conna\u00eetra en Terminale le premier choc de sa vie. Il perd son pari d’obtenir le BAC avec la mention. Pari qu’il perd car il doit se contenter du BAC seul. En larmes \u00e0 la sortie des r\u00e9sultats, il boude et refuse de rentrer \u00e0 la maison. Son grand fr\u00e8re d\u00e9cide alors de l’accueillir car il figue. A la facult\u00e9 de droit de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, il se rattrape car il termine avec la ma\u00eetrise pour un parcours sans faute.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

En 2004, il obtient les concours de l\u2019ENA et de la magistrature. Il est parmi les 5 premiers admis. Son destin politique et syndical se dessine alors car il choisit d\u2019aller aux imp\u00f4ts et aux domaines o\u00f9 il rencontre Biram Souley Diop et Ousmane Sonko, d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans le syndicat. Lequel syndicat il dirige plus tard apr\u00e8s le mandat de SONKO.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

En 2014, le parti politique PASTEF est cr\u00e9\u00e9, il \u00e9tait simple invit\u00e9 dans les r\u00e9unions du bureau politique tout au d\u00e9but avant d\u2019\u00eatre incontournable gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la pertinence de ses id\u00e9es, de sa rigueur surtout de sa production intellectuelle. Tr\u00e8s vite, il dirige les cadres de PASTEF ainsi que ceux de la diaspora. Sa proximit\u00e9 criarde avec SONKO ne cache pas moins son ind\u00e9pendance d’esprit au sein du parti.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Esprit brillant, tr\u00e8s discret, il est aussi comme une personnalit\u00e9 qui respecte ses adversaires dans leurs limites comme dans leurs qualit\u00e9s.<\/div>\n
